This book is great for anyone who wants to understand the basics of our favourite plant.
Not really for the connoisseur but a very interesting read none the less. I particularly like the section "How To Make A Bong" - this book is truly for beginners.
What makes this book good is that it didn't bore me. It's interesting and organised in a way that makes it easy to dip into for a five minute read.

The Cannabis Companion

The Cannabis companion is quite an interesting book although it is a little on the basic side in places.
However, for some newbies to the growing sport, it would make excellent reading.
Topics included in this book include: The history of the cannabis plant, facts about the plant, basic cultivation, advanced techniques and advanced information about the plant and effects.
I believe the author Steven Wishnia was, at one time, the editor of another magazine so you can expect all the facts to be correct.
The depth of this book, however, is a little shallow, so I presume this is only Vol 1 and a sequel will be following.
