Marijuana protector needed policing

CHICAGO - A woman whose job was to stop people from growing pot in the woods has been charged with growing pot in the woods.
Apparently, no one told Cynthia Wojtanowski, who has now been relieved of her post as the 'resident watchman' of the Cook County Forest Preserve outside Chicago, that her job included policing herself.
"We were given a tip by a member of the public to our police force that there was marijuana being grown in this particular area," Forest Preserve Supt. Arnold Randall told the Chicago Sun-Times. "We discovered cannabis on the grounds of the forest preserve district - in the vicinity of the home."
Wojtanowski and her live-in boyfriend Mark P. Osmolski, 42, have been charged. Randall speculated the couple wasn't growing the pot for their pleasure.
