If you look at Zionism from a Western perspective, its logic is clear and compelling. Anti-Semitism has deep roots in European history and the Holocaust demonstrated what happens to Jews when they don't have the protective shield of their own state. And the guilt for the Holocaust belongs not just to the Germans, who were the primary perpetrators, but also their many collaborators in Poland, Ukraine, France and elsewhere. Nor were the English-speaking people innocent: England, Canada, the United States and the other members of the anglosphere made extraordinary efforts to keep out Jewish refugees. Western civilization committed terrible crimes in the 1930s and 1940s, and the West owes the Jews a state.But if you look at Zionism from a global perspective, one that acknowledges that Arabs are human beings, then the morality becomes much murkier. Unlike the peoples of Europe, the Palestinians weren't direct participants in the Holocaust. Why should Palestinians lose their land because of crimes committed by Germans, Poles, Ukrainians and other Europeans? Jeet Heer asks: "Why should Palestinians lose their land because of crimes committed by Germans, Poles?" I ask: What crime committed by "the Poles"?
Since when is it a crime to save Jews from Nazi oppression. One-tenth of the people of Warsaw actively helped the city's Jewish population; Thousands of Poles were killed during the war for saving the lives of Jews; One-third of the Righteous Gentiles were Poles. Shall I go on?
Just because Nazi concentration camps were planted on Polish soil doesn't mean that Poles were Jew slaughterers. What sort of cruel agenda is aiming to discredit the Poles' unquestionably noble conduct during the Second World War?

Klopot ABC polega na tym, ze swiete dla muzulmanow prawo islamskie nie ma na Zachodzie dobrej prasy. W mediach pelno jest doniesien o chlostach, obcinaniu glow i rak, mordowaniu kobiet podejrzanych o zlamanie obyczajow, kaleczenie dziewczynek, sankcjonowaniu pedofilii (prorok Muhammad wzial sobie za zone 6-letnia dziewczynke i skonsumowal malzenstwo kilka lat pozniej), nagminnym rozmijaniu sie szariatu z zachodnimi wyobrazeniami o prawach i rownym statusie kobiet. Na ten juz fatalny wizerunek nakladaja sie informacje z frontu wojny z islamskim fanatyzmem. Obywatele Zachodu czuja sie zagrozeni, zwlaszcza ze islamistyczni terrorysci rekrutuja sie tez z muzulmanskich mniejszosci w Europie (Adam Szostkiewicz, "ABC islamu", POLITYKA nr 10 (2644), 8 marca 2008).
