Caly dzien poswiecilem
studiom nad historia noza. Dzis poznawalem najbardziej znany mi scyzoryk jeszcze z Polski GERLACH. Historie fabryki, ktora datuje sie juz od 1860 roku i jej produktach. Scyzoryki byly tez GERLACHA produktem. Te tradycyjne, otwierane dwoma rekoma paznokciem palca. Kto ich nie pamieta? FRICTION FOLDER The simplest of all folding knives needs just a blade, pin, and handle. Folded, the blade rests in the handle cutout. Opened, the end of the blade strikes the handle or, if the blade spine has been lengthened into a lever, opens onto the handle. More-complex designs of so-called friction folders have a separate stop for the blade or consist of multipart handle designs. There is generally no blade lock mechanism or spring. The friction between the blade and the inner sides of the handle prevents the blade from too easily opening or closing. To the present day, this type of knife is popular mainly in France (Piemontais) and Japan (higonokami). SLIP JOINT Pocketknives whose blades are prevented from folding by a back spring have been around for about 250 years. This folding-knife design (clip joint) was made possible by the development of spring steel in the mid-seventeenth century. The blade of a slip joint knife is not locked, but it is at least actively held in place. It is held in place in the handle, or in working position by a spring in the back of the handle, which usually presses into a step-shaped receptacle in the root of the blade. French vesrions had a derivation of this classic design, the spring having a small hammerhead that engages a specially formated slot in the blade root, so more force is required to fold the knife. The best-known example of a knife with a back spring and no lock is the Swiss Army Knife, but garden knives, cowboy jacknives, and regional knives of France for the most part rely on similar mechanisms (Oliver Lang, The Big Book of Knives"). *** "By war's end, at least one million Russians, Byelorussians, Ukrainians, Georgians, Chechens serve in Wehrmacht combat and non-combat roles" - SPARTACUS OLSSON. One rozkrecaja te kampanie obsrywania Jana Pawla II" - STANISLAW MICHALKIEWICZ.
