SECURITY GUARD ROBBED, SHOT
Police are looking for a suspect after a security guard was shot in the face yesterday morning. It was reported the security guard was on duty at an apartment building on Emmett Ave. in the Eglinton Ave. W. and Jane St. area when a man entered the building at around 1 a.m. The man demanded cash before shooting the 53-year-old man on his left cheek with a pellet gun. The security guard was brought to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The suspect was last seen running towards Jane St. (24 HOURS, Thursday, October 23, 2008).
