Klasyczny scyzoryk Barlow CASE
VS modernistyczny scyzoryk BENCHMADE. Cala historie scyzoryka ujeta na tej fotografii. Krotko: od klasyka do taktyka. *** George Washington is reported to have received a Barlow knife from his mother as a reward for his obedience (Mike Yarbrough, "The Guy's Guide to Pocket Knives"). *** "Gdyby mozna bylo wpasc w ramiona kobiet, nie wpadajac w ich rece!" - HENRI MILLON DE MONTHERLANT. *** W dawnej Polsce o zamoznosci prowincji swiadczyly bowiem wplywy z dwoch podatkow. Pierwszym z nich byl podatek lanowy, placony przez szlachte, chlopow i duchownych. Jego wysokosc pokazuje zamoznosc danej ziemi - im wiecej odprowadzala do skarbu, tym wiecej bylo tam folwarkow, zagrod, lanow, a wiec gospodarowanych gruntow. Druga z tych danin bylo podymne - podatek od nieruchomosci, domow, dworow, kuzni, mlynow itd..., mowiacy wiele o uprzemyslowieniu badanego terytorium (Jacek Komuda, "Upadek: Jak stracilismy Pierwsza Rzeczpospolita"). *** "Karabin rodzi wladze" - MAO ZEDONG. *** There's an old adage attributed to the Romans, who relied mainly on the thrust: "two inches of steel in the right place will kill any man". It's pretty much true, but it does have a built-in fallacy: "... in the right place". Stabs in the throat, eye, heart, solar plexus, and a few other such places are frequently fatal and very quickly so. But the human body is large and these spots are small. What happens when you miss? (Hank Reinhardt's Book of Knives: A Practical and Illustrated Guide to Knife Fighting").
