Sladami Bin Ladena

Dzisiaj na CNN dlugo oczekiwany i bardzo reklamowany 2-godzinny dokument o najwiekszym terroryscie XXI wieku ("In the footsteps of Bin Laden" - http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/presents/bin.laden/).

Bin Laden wslawil sie atakiem terrorystycznym, ktory zmienil oblicze ziemi. Szczegolnie zas oblicze Stanow Zjednoczonych, ktore z wolnego panstwa staly sie wiezieniem i panstwem policyjnym. Byly juz panstwem policyjnym z powodu tzw.

Dzisiaj rano o 06:45 Hrs. slonecznie i 14-stopniowo. Slonce oslepia z tylu w lusterku i z przodu odbijajac sie od szklanych wiezowcow. Na stacjach benzynowych litr paliwa kosztuje $.95.3. W radiu na FM 107.1 dobry solidny rock mojej ulubionej grupy kanadyjskiej Tragically Hip. Okno z lekka uchylone. Mily powiew po twarzy.

Osama formed a network, which he named al-Qaeda, or "the base." He set up al-Qaeda like a corporation. Al-Qaeda had a command and control structure in which members pledged an oath of allegiance called bayat. Bayat was a quasi-mediaeval oath of allegiance to the emir, or leader. Regular internal investigations of member and associates were to be conducted to detect informants, and when suspects of collaboration were uncovered, they were to be murdered (Stan Sauerwein, "Terrorism The homeland threat", Altitude Publishing, 2006).

WALESA DITCHES SOLIDARITY

Tories compare Hezbollah to Nazi party

HARPER DEFENDS COMMENTS

'Both stand for the destruction of Jewish nation'

BY MEAGAN FITZPATRICK

OTTAWA * Prime Minister Stephen Harper said yesterday it's not unfair to liken Hezbollah to the Nazis, who once ruled Germany, because both stand for the destruction of the "Jewish nation."
In an interview with CanWest News Service, Mr. Harper was asked if the comparison made earlier in the day by his parliamentary secretary Conservative MP Jason Kenney, was appropriate.
"Like all comparisons, it's true in some ways, and not in others," he said, "but as near as I can tell, both Hezbollah and the Nazi party stand for the elimination of the Jewish nation. So I think that's pretty fundamental and, in that sense, I don't think it's unfair.
"I think those who associate themselves with Hezbollah in this country are operating beyond the pale, and they're frankly operating in defence of an organization that is an illegal criminal organization in this country," Mr. Harper said. Earlier, Mr. Kenney held a news conference to blast Liberal MP Borys Wrzesnewskyj for the position he espressed on Hezbollah during his tour of Lebanon.
Mr. Wrzesnewskyj has come under fire for suggesting he, along with New Democrat Peggy Nash, favoured removing Hezbollah from the list of terrorist organizations in Canada.
The MPs, along with Bloc Quebecois MP Maria Moureni, were in Lebanon on a fact-finding mission organized by the National Council on Canada-Arab Relations.
"Hezbollah has a political wing. They have members of Parliament. They have two Cabinet ministers. You want to encourage politicians in this military organization so that the centre of gravity shifts to them," Mr. Wrzesnewskyj is quoted as saying.
Mr. Wrzesnewskyj, who is the Liberal associate foreign affairs critic, later denied supporting the de-listing of Hezbollah as a terrorist group. Rather, he said, Canada needs to evaluate its anti-terror legislation so it can negotiate with groups on the list in order to implement a peace process.
Mr. Wrzesnewskyj released a statement on Monday saying he believes Hezbollah is a terrorist organization and should remain on the list. Mr. Kenney said the trip lent "political legitimacy" to the terrorist organization and that just because it has a political wing doesn't make Hezbollah a legitimate group.
"There was another political party in the past which had democratic support, which provided social services, which played an important role in the political life of its country in Germany in the 1930s which was also dedicated to violence against the Jewish people," he told reporters.
"The world was wrong to negotiate with that party then and it would be wrong to negotiate with Hezbollah today and I'm shocked that Mr. Wrzesnewskyj doesn't understand that."
Liberal Leader Bill Graham confirmed on Monday his party's official position has not wavered on the issue of listing the organization as a terrorist group.
But Mr. Kenney said Mr. Wrzesnewskyj and his party were trying to backpedal. "Mr. Graham and his party cannot distance themselves from Mr. Wrzesnewskyj's words unless they are prepared to remove him from that position," he said.
Liberal MP Carolyn Bennett, who is vying for the party's leadership, issued a press release saying her colleague's comments do not reflect her views or those of the Liberal party and as such it would be "inappropriate for Mr. Wrzesnewskyj to continue his role as associate critic for foreign affairs."
